People of four districts of Devipatan division will no longer have to stand in long queues for train tickets. Passengers will now be able to book tickets from the nearest post office as well. This facility has been started at 482 post offices.
Good news has come for the passengers traveling by train from Gonda in UP. For booking tickets at railway stations, there is no longer a need for long lines at the station. Tickets will be given to passengers by making railway ticket counters along with postal services in other post offices including the head post office of Gonda. With this, they can easily travel by taking a ticket.
Train tickets will be available in 482 post offices
All the post offices and sub post offices of Gonda, Balrampur, Bahraich, Shravasti have been connected with IRCTC. There are 42 pairs of trains on Gonda to Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Balrampur railway route. Railway ticket counter has also been started in 482 branch. This facility will bring great relief to the passengers. Almost every day 42 pairs of trains pass through Gonda Junction. This facility has been started at about 482 post offices of Devipatan Mandal.
You will not have to go to the reservation centers
The postal department is now busy in making the post offices hi-tech. Already, other facilities are being provided in post offices ranging from Aadhar card and passport. Now one more feature has been added to it. Due to this, people living in far flung areas will not have to go to the reservation center to get railway tickets. Postal workers have been trained for railway tickets. User passwords have been provided to the concerned personnel. More than 5 thousand passengers move on this route every day.
No one will be able to cheat the passengers
Kiran Singh said that the work of reservation of railways has started in 2 head post offices, 54 sub post offices i.e. 482 branches of 56 post offices. The facilities will be good in the post offices and no one will be able to cheat the passengers. Now no one will be able to take commission from them. We will try to provide good services to the public. If our workload increases, then we will engage more employees in it.
