Indian Railway, IRCTC: Indian Railways has released a new guideline amidst increasing cases of corona virus. According to the guideline, passengers must follow certain rules before and during the train journey. Passengers must now arrive at the station 90 minutes early. Passengers are being called for a thermal screening 90 minutes in advance. According to the railway, only passengers who do not have symptoms of corona will be allowed to travel.
No one will be allowed to sit in the train without thermal screening and sanitization. Particular care has to be taken for social distancing during the journey. Travelers have been advised to bring their own food and water. Pillows, blankets and curtains will not be provided to passengers.

Before the journey, the official mobile app Arogya Setu, giving information about Corona, should be downloaded in the phone. Passengers will have to wear masks from the entry to the station until the end of the journey. Passenger train services of Indian Railways have been almost stagnant since March. According to the Railways, due to this, the Railways may incur a loss of 35 thousand crores in the financial year 2020-2021.
In the midst of the Corona crisis, the Railways is using many such technologies that will give passengers a new experience in the coming times. Major changes are being made from Tekat Books to Railway Coaches. These include alarm clock, CCTV camera, contact equipped ticketing etc.
