It is a joint venture of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). This train travels to 12 places of North-West and Central India. Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Lucknow, Fatehpur and Gwalior.
It is operated during the months of October to April. The staff, cleaning, luxury washrooms, sofas, rooms and catering are specially taken care of in the train. It is a kind of walking five-star hotel on the tracks in which many of the world’s most expensive brands of liquor are also served. The train is designed from the inside in such a way that reminds the passengers of the life of the old Maharajas.
