What is GNWL?
GNWL (General Waiting List) means General Waiting List i.e. general waiting list tickets. When a person starts his journey from the first station of the train route and his ticket is not confirmed, then in such a situation the ticket goes in the general waiting list. The chances of getting a ticket confirmed in this list are higher.
What is RLWL?
RLWL (Remote Location Waiting List) means Remote Location Waiting List. This waiting ticket is given to any person when he books a ticket for any two nearby stations except the first and last station. These tickets have slightly less chances of getting confirmed as compared to GNWL as there is no quota between stations.
What is PQWL?
PQWL (Pool Quota Waiting List) means Pooled Quota Waiting List. When you travel between two stations falling on the route of a long distance train, your ticket goes on the PQWL waiting list. In this list, your ticket is confirmed only when a passenger from the area cancels his ticket.
