Indian Railways: Big news! These long distance trains will now stop at these 5 stations too, know the train details

Lucknow: With the onset of winter, fog has started on the railways. The effect of fog has started appearing in many areas of North India and this is affecting the operation of trains in large areas of Northern Railway.

At present, the effect of fog is visible at about 100 stations in Moradabad, Delhi-Firozpur and Ambala divisions, due to which the speed of trains has also reduced. At the same time, some effect of fog has started appearing on Lucknow division as well. Visibility in these areas is less than 30 meters in the morning, which is not enough to run the train. In view of the possibility of fog, the Railways has canceled about 60 trains. These are low demand trains and currently they have been canceled till the first week of February.

It is feared that the fog may increase further in the next one or two weeks. This will first affect the punctuality of trains. At present this punctuality is 92%. That is, 92% of the trains are running on time. Although till a few days ago this figure was beyond 95. That is, due to the increase in fog, the speed of the trains will decrease and will run late.

Actually, it is not possible to see the signals being received by the train from a distance in fog, so the trains have to run at a slow speed. Its purpose is to avoid any kind of accident. Apart from this, with the help of fog safety devices, detonators and training of railway personnel in trains, railways have made preparations for safety in foggy weather. Along with this, patrolling of track man has also been increased on the railway line in the frosty area. So that if there is any crack or damage in the railway track, then it can be identified.
