Indian Railway: Indian Railways has made some rules regarding ticket checking in trains. TTE cannot check tickets after 10 pm and before 6 am. These rules apply not to passengers but to TTEs. Railways has made rules for the convenience of passengers.

That is why Indian Railways has made many rules for the convenience of those traveling by train.

TTE cannot wake up during journey

According to railway rules, TTE cannot wake you up to check tickets between 10 pm to 6 am. Let us tell you that according to one of the many rules made for railway passengers, the time for sleeping has been fixed from 10 pm to 6 am. After 6 am, you will have to open the middle berth so that other passengers can sit and travel. Passengers are also prohibited from listening to loud music and talking loudly while traveling at night.

Tickets will not be checked from 10 pm to 6 am

Railways runs many long distance trains. In such a situation, passengers also have to spend the night in the train. In such a situation, the biggest problem occurs when passengers are sleeping at night and TTE comes to check their tickets. But let us tell you that as per railway rules, TTE cannot wake you up to check tickets between 10 pm to 6 am. However, this rule does not apply to those whose journey starts at 10 pm. TTE can check the tickets of such passengers.

You can also travel by taking platform ticket

According to a rule of the Railways, if you do not have time to buy a ticket, you can board the train by just buying a platform ticket. After this, from your boarding station to the destination address, you will have to pay for the train ticket and buy it from TTE and you can easily travel further.

You can take only this much luggage

According to railway rules, you can carry only 40 to 70 kg of luggage while traveling by passenger train. If someone travels with more luggage than this, he will have to pay a separate fare. Only TTE will collect the fare from him and will also give a receipt.
