Indian Railways Sleeper Vande Bharat: There is good news for crores of train passengers. Indian Railways is preparing to launch the much-awaited Vande Bharat sleeper trains by the year 2025-26. After their launch, it will be very comfortable for those traveling long distances.
According to a report by ET Now, Indian Railways is planning to launch 10 new Vande Bharat sleeper trains by the financial year 2025-26. These trains will have world-class facilities and their interiors are also excellent.
Indian Railways: The country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train is expected to be launched in the year 2025. Necessary tests and trial runs will be done before running these trains. GS U Subba Rao of Chennai’s ICF said that different types of trials will be done on these trains for two months from November 15. After these tests, the trains will be started for the general public.
Recently, BEML, the company that manufactures these trains, has handed over the first Vande Bharat sleeper trainset to Chennai’s ICF. Although the Indian Railways has not yet announced the exact routes of these sleeper trains. But it is expected that the first few trains will connect major cities like New Delhi and Pune or New Delhi and Srinagar.
The new Vande Bharat sleeper train has been designed to make it safer and more comfortable. Made of high power and austenitic stainless steel, these trains are equipped with all kinds of facilities. These include crash buffers and specially designed couplers. The 16 car trainset will have the capacity to carry 823 passengers.
