Indian Railways: The work of doubling the line between Katni-Singrauli stations is being done on behalf of Jabalpur Division. Non-interlocking block is being taken for this work, due to which the service of trains operating on this route will be affected. Especially trains on Kolkata route will be affected.
New Delhi. The work of doubling the line between Katni-Singrauli stations is being done on behalf of Jabalpur division of West Central Railway zone of Indian Railways. Non-interlocking block is being taken for this work, due to which the service of trains operating on this route will be affected. Especially trains on Kolkata route will be affected.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, spokesperson of North Western Railway, due to this work, the route of the following trains operating on the Zonal Railway will be changed:-
1. Train No. 19608, Madar-Kolkata rail service which will leave Madar on 18.04.22 will be diverted from its scheduled route via Katni Murwada, Singrauli, Garhwa Road via Katni Murwada-Satna-Prayagraj Chheoki-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Will operate via Garhwa Road.
2. Train No. 19607, Kolkata-Madar Rail service which will depart from Kolkata on 14.04.22 will be diverted from its scheduled route via Garhwa Road, Singrauli-Katni Murwada via the converted route via Garhwa Road- Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay-Prayagraj Chheoki-Satna Katni will operate via Murwada.
