1. Indian Railways is known to be the largest railway network in the world. However, due to the corona virus epidemic and lockdown, the system froze for a few days. Indian Railways has been running trains in phases since then.

2. There have been many changes in ticket booking and reservation due to limited trains. All the while, Indian Railways prepares only one reservation chart.

3. Indian Railways has decided to prepare a second reservation chart as in the past. The Railways will prepare the second reservation chart within 30 to 5 minutes before the departure of the train.

4. Indian Railways will prepare the second reservation chart from October 10 according to the old method. Tickets can be booked online at the reservation counters before preparing the second chart.

5. Indian Railways has taken this decision to facilitate passengers booking train tickets. The second reservation chart is to be prepared 30 minutes in advance according to the old method.

6. Indian Railways used to prepare the chart two hours in advance due to the corona virus epidemic in the past. This method has been the same for a few months.




7. The first reservation chart will be prepared at least four hours before departure. Passengers can book the vacant berths on the first chart online and at the reservation counters as soon as the second reservation chart is ready.

8. Train tickets already booked can be canceled. Existing refund rules apply to them.

9. Indian Railways services have been suspended since March 25 due to nationwide lockdown due to corona virus epidemic. Railway services were restored on May 1 by running labor trains. The Railways has been gradually increasing the number of trains since then.
