Due to fog and other operational problems, today, on Friday, 23 December, Indian Railways had to cancel 237 trains including Northeast Express, Jharkhand Express and Unchahar Express (Cancelled Train list 23 dec. 2022). Trains canceled today include passenger, mail and express trains. The route of many trains has been shortened. Apart from this, today many trains are also running late from their scheduled time.
According to the website of Indian Railways, today 225 trains have been completely cancelled. 12 trains have also been partially cancelled. Indian Railways also had to reschedule 27 trains today. Apart from this, the route of 21 trains has been diverted today.
