According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, doubling work is being done between Yelahanka-Panukonda railway sections on Bangalore Division on behalf of South Western Railway. Due to this non-interlocking block is being taken. Rail traffic will be affected due to this block.
According to CPRO, due to this work, train number 16531, Ajmer-Bangalore Express train service will leave from Ajmer on 13th December. That train service is on its scheduled route Guntakal Jn, Anantapur, Dharmavaram Jn. and changed route in place of Hindupur stations via Ballari-Raydurg-Arsikere Jn.-Tumkur-Yesvantpur Jn. will operate through
According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, CPRO of North Eastern Railway, 22533 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Express running from Gorakhpur on 13th December, 2021 will be diverted via the converted route Guntakal-Gooty-Renigunta-Jolarpettai-Bagapet-Yesvantpur. As a result, this train will not stop at Dharmavaram and Hindupur stations.
