new Delhi. Many major works are being done by the Railways for the safety of the passengers on the Izzatnagar Division. The North Eastern Railway is doing construction work at two places, due to which the block is being taken. Due to this, rail traffic will be affected and many trains will have short termination/short origination and diversion. Therefore, the passengers traveling on this route should get all the information before making their travel plan so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.
According to the Northern Railway Spokesperson, in order to increase the safety of the passengers, due to the construction work at two places of the North Eastern Railway, rail traffic will be taken as follows:-
1. Limited at level crossing number 307/C between Kasganj City-Sarnath Railway Station on 16.03.22. A traffic block of 06 hours will be taken from 11.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs for the construction of elevated subway.
2. Non-interlocking due to doubling between Ballia-Sahatwar stations of Chhapra-Ballia section.
Trains terminating/starting before destination
1. The journey of 05335 Kavarapettai – Kasganj Passenger running on 16.03.22 will terminate at Saron station.
2. The journey of 05336 Kasganj – Kavarapettai Passenger running on 16.03.22 will start from Saron station.
3. 01001 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Ballia Special train running on 17.03.22 will terminate its journey at Mau station.
4. 01002 Ballia – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special train running on 18.03.22 will start its journey from Mau station.
Rescheduling of Trains
05370 Lalkua – Kasganj Passenger train running on 16.03.22 will be delayed by 65 minutes from Lalkua.
