During this, many trains of different routes will be diverted, short termination, short origination and controlled according to the prescribed schedule.
According to Northeast Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh, many trains will be affected due to the engineering block. Therefore, passengers should get the schedule of all these trains before starting their journey so that they do not face any kind of trouble. The trains that will be affected on this route will be operated as follows:-
Change of Route
– 12408 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express running from Amritsar on May 13, 2022 will be diverted via Samastipur-Barauni-Khagaria instead of the scheduled route Samastipur-Hasanpur Road-Khagaria.
Short Termination
– 14674 Amritsar-Jayanagar Express running from Amritsar on 12th & 15th May, 2022 will end its journey at Samastipur station instead of Jaynagar.
Short Origin
– 14673 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express running from Jaynagar on 14th May, 2022 will be run from Samastipur station in place of Jaynagar.
14649 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express running from Jaynagar on May 17, 2022 will be run from Samastipur station.
Control
– 12523 New Jalpaiguri – New Delhi Express running from New Jalpaiguri on 14th May, 2022 will be run between Rusera Ghat – Samastipur by controlling 30 minutes.
