Amidst the rising outbreak of Corona epidemic, the Railways has issued a guideline to prevent the spread of infection. According to this guideline, it is mandatory for all the passengers to come to the station premises wearing a mask. Apart from this, the Southern Railway has allowed only the passengers who have taken both the doses of the vaccine to travel in the local train.
New Delhi: The havoc of Corona is once again spreading rapidly in the country. In such a situation, along with the central government, the state governments are also taking precautionary steps to prevent the infection of corona. To prevent infection, the state governments have strictly imposed all kinds of restrictions. Like every time, Indian Railways has issued rules in view of the increasing cases of Kovid.
Instructions to follow covid protocol
Keeping in mind the increasing cases of corona, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has instructed the officers of different railway zones to strictly follow the Kovid protocol. If you do not follow the rules of Kovid Protocol of Railways, then you may be stopped from entering the station.
Mask Rquired
Under the Kovid protocol of the Railways, it is necessary for every passenger to wear a mask. Failure to do so may prevent you from entering the railway station. Till some time ago these rules were relaxed slightly but again it has been made mandatory to apply masks. Staff will be deployed at the stations to keep an eye on the passengers.
Steps being taken to alert passengers
Steps are also being taken to sensitize the passengers about the precautionary measures like wearing masks, frequent hand washing and following other hygiene rules at stations. Apart from this, the railway staff and other staff will be ready to sanitize the hands of the passengers and take other precautions like social distancing and not allowing crowding at the stations.
Railway Minister took the meeting
The Railway Minister directed the officers to be fully prepared to provide convenience to the common people in the use of railway hospitals and health facilities. Railway Board Chairman, Chief Executive Officer VK Tripathi, Railway Ministry officials and senior zonal officers participated in a meeting with the Railway Minister regarding the preparedness of the Railways during the Covid period.
Travel without vaccine
On the other hand, in view of the rapidly increasing infection, Southern Railway has imposed restrictions on passengers. It is necessary to get the vaccine for passengers traveling in local trains. Along with this, these trains will be run with half the capacity, so that the crowd does not increase. Passengers will have to show the certificate related to vaccination during checking.
