Jaipur. North Western Railway has once again canceled 4 long distance trains due to non-interlocking work. Although this work of non-interlocking is being done by South East Central Railway at Chulha station located between Jaithari-Chulha railway sections on Bilaspur division, but it is also affecting the trains of NWR. The canceled trains include Udaipur City-Shalimar and Bikaner-Puri Up-Down. This cancellation of trains will be from January 9 to January 19.


According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the refund of reserved tickets in these trains will be done. After the completion of the work, these trains will be operated on the fixed route. Apart from this, NWR has also made partial changes in the timing of 7 trains. These include trains going from Jodhpur and Bikaner to Puri. The change in timings of these trains will happen from January 22.

North Western Railway has canceled these 4 trains

1. Train No. 20971 Udaipur City – Shalimar will remain canceled on 15th January.
2. Train number 20972 Shalimar-Udaipur City will remain canceled on 16 January.
3. Train number 20471 Bikaner-Puri will remain canceled on January 9 and January 16.
4. Train number 20472 Puri-Bikaner will remain canceled on January 12 and January 19.

NWR has started this new train from January 9.

It is noteworthy that North Western Railway has also started operation of Ajmer-Mumbai weekly train from January 9 itself. Rail passengers of Kishangarh, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi and Bhawani Mandi of Rajasthan will also be benefited by this train. At the same time, this train will also stop at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi in Gujarat and Borivali stations in Maharashtra.

This will be the schedule of this train

According to the railway management, train number 09621 Ajmer-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special train will run on every Sunday from January 9 to January 30. This train will leave Ajmer at 6.35 am and will reach Bandra Terminus at 4.15 am on Monday. In return direction, this train will leave Bandra Terminus at 11.15 am and will reach Ajmer at 9.10 am the next day. It will operate from Mumbai from January 10.
