Indian Railways: Indian Railways has decided to cancel about 15 trains running on various routes like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chhapra, Varanasi and Jammu. Apart from this, the railways has also changed the routes of many trains.
New Delhi: For the next 8 days, Railways canceled about 15 trains on many routes like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chhapra, Varanasi and Jammu. According to the railways, the work of doubling and electrification of tracks is being done on these routes.
Doubling of tracks is happening on many routes
In this connection, doubling and electrification work is being done on both the railway routes of Varanasi Division and Bilaspur Division of Railways. Due to which many trains have been canceled for the next few days. Along with this, changes have also been made in some rail routes.
Doubling of tracks is going on on many routes across the country as part of modernization and renovation on various rail routes by Indian Railways. Due to which some railway routes have been changed. Some trains have been canceled and some routes have been changed. However, due to this, railway passengers can definitely get into trouble. These include some general trains and some special trains as well.
These trains were canceled
According to the Railways, train number 18201 Durg-Nautanwa Express has been canceled for Friday i.e. 17th and 22nd December. At the same time, train number 18202 Nautanwa-Durg Express has also been canceled for Friday i.e. 17 December and 19 and 24 December.
At the same time, train number 12549 Durg-Jammu Tawi-Express will not run on December 21. Train No. 12550 Jammu Tawi-Durg Express will remain canceled on December 23.
Train 22867 Durg-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will remain canceled on Friday i.e. 17th December. Train number 22868 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Durg Express will not run on upcoming Saturday i.e. 18th December.
Train 15115 Chhapra-Delhi Express will remain canceled on 18th December. Train number 15116 Delhi-Chhapra Express will remain canceled on 19 December.
Train No. 05135 Chhapra Special and Train No. 05146 Siwan-Chhapra Unreserved Express Special will not run on next 25 December.
Changed route of these trains
- Along with this, the railways have made changes in some railway routes. Train No. Jaynagar-Amritsar Special Express will run on Friday and Sunday as well and on 24 December via Chhapra-Bhatni and Mau under the changed route.
- Train No. 04652 Amritsar-Jayanagar-Express will run on upcoming Friday, Sunday and 22nd & 24th December via Mau-Bhatni-Chapra.
- Train 19166 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express will run via Chhapra-Bhatni on 18th and 25th December after change of route.
- At the same time, train number 19165 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express will be diverted on 22nd December and will run via Mau-Bhatni-Chapra.
