Railways have now installed ultra modern HLB pantry cars in trains to serve fresh and hot food to long distance passengers. Various features have also been equipped in this ultra modern HLB pantry car.


New Delhi. Railways is preparing to increase the facilities of passengers in long distance trains. Railways will now serve hot food to passengers traveling long distances. For this, Indian Railways is going to install ultra modern HLB coaches in trains.

Railways launched new pantry car

Railways have now installed ultra modern HLB pantry cars in trains to serve fresh and hot food to long distance passengers. Various features have also been equipped in this ultra modern HLB pantry car. For the convenience of passengers, services like refrigerator, deep freezer, hotcase, water boiler and induction will be available in these coaches. Apart from this, eight fire extinguishers will also be installed in these modern pantry cars along with fire detectors.

In long distance trains, Indian Railways has started side vending facility in 13 trains apart from pantry car in nine trains for catering arrangements.

More than 1 thousand trains will be canceled on 28 and 29 May

If you are planning to travel somewhere by train on 28th and 29th May i.e. Saturday and Sunday, then you may have to face problems. In fact, according to the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website of the Railways, it has been decided to cancel a total of 1050 trains on 28 May 2022 and 29 May i.e. Saturday and Sunday. Rail passengers can check the list of cancelled, rescheduled and diverted trains by visiting the website of Indian Railways at enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes/. Indian Railways has decided to cancel such a large number of trains due to track maintenance.
