Know how much discount senior citizens used to get

Prior to March 2020, in case of senior citizens, 50% relaxation was given to female passengers and 40% to male passengers to travel by railways in all classes. 58 for men and 60 for men.

That’s why no concessions will be given

Indian Railways offers 53 categories of concessions for senior citizens, students, sportspersons, medical professionals etc. Some concessions have been withdrawn as a step to discourage people from traveling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At present, only students and people with certain medical conditions are eligible for the concession.
