Indian Railways: Traffic block is being taken from Northern Railway at Roja-Sitapur, Sonipat-Sandal Kalan and Khanna stations.
Due to the traffic block, the movement of about 60 trains running for particular cities of the states of Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Assam, Goa will be affected. Out of these, more than two dozen trains of different routes are also being canceled till April 11-12.
According to the spokesperson of the Northern Railway, due to the traffic block at Rosa-Sitapur, Sonepat-Sandal Kalan and Khanna stations, apart from canceling the trains, it has also been decided to run short term, divert and stop on the route. Due to this, the passengers traveling on this route may have to face problems. If passengers are planning to travel by these trains, then get their running status from the respective inquiry numbers. Following trains will be temporarily affected due to this work:-
Cancellation of these trains
- 04337/04338 Sitapur City-Shahjahanpur-Sitapur City Special, starting from 03.04.2022 to 11.04.2022, will remain cancelled.
- 04306 Shahjahanpur – Balamau Special, commencing journey from 04.04.2022 to 12.04.2022, will remain cancelled.
- 04305 Balamau-Shahjahanpur special commencing journey from 02.04.2022 to 10.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Express commencing on 05.04.2022 and 10.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 14010 Anand Vihar Terminal – Bapudham Motihar Express which is commencing on 04.04.2022 and 09.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 12491 Barauni-Jammutvi Express starting its journey on 10.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 12492 JAMMU – BRAUNI EXPRESS commencing journey on 08.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15529 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Express commencing on 06.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15530 Anand Vihar Terminal – Saharsa Express commencing on 07.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Express which will start journey on 02.04.2022, 04.04.2022, 07.04.2022 and 09.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express commencing journey on 04.04.2022, 06.04.2022, 09.04.2022 and 11.09.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15531 Saharsa-Amritsar Express commencing journey on 03.04.2022 and 10.04.2022 will remain cancelled.
- 15232 Amritsar-Saharsa Express commencing on 04.04.2022 and 11.04.2022 will remain cancelled.

- 15621 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Express, which will start its journey on 07.04.2022, will run via Burwal-Roza-Lucknow. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 15655 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022 and 10.04.2022, will be run via Burwal-Roza-Lucknow. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 12407 Newjalpaiguri-Amritsar Express, which will start its journey on 06.04.2022, will run via Burwal-Roza-Lucknow. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022, will be run via Burwal-Roza-Lucknow. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 12491 Barauni-Jammutvi Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022, will run via Burwal-Roza-Lucknow. This train will not stop at Sitapur and Maikalganj stations.
- 12408 Amritsar – Newsalpaiguri Express, which will start its journey on 08.04.2022, will run via Roza-Lucknow-Burwal. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 15622 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022, will run via Roza-Lucknow-Burwal. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 15656 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Kamakhya Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022, will be run via Roza-Lucknow-Burwal. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 22552 Jalandhar-Darbhanga Express, which will start its journey on 03.04.2022, will run via Roja-Lucknow-Burwal. This train will not stop at Sitapur station.
- 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express running on 06.04.2022 will be diverted via Ambala-Saharanpur-Meerut City-Khurja.
- 12925 Bandra Terminus-Amritsar Paschim Express running on 05.04.2022 will be diverted via Sonipat-Gohana-Panipat.
- 12715 Hazur Sahib Nanded-Amritsar Express running on 05.04.2022 will be run via Sonipat-Gohana-Panipat.
- 14507 Delhi-Fazilka Express running on 06.04.2022 will be run via Sonipat-Gohna-Panipat.
- 12407 Newsalpaiguri-Amritsar Express running on 06.04.2022 will be diverted via Chandigarh-Sanhewal.
- 15933 Nutinsukhia-Amritsar Express running on 05.04.2022 will be diverted via Chandigarh-Sanhewal.
- 14673 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express running on 11.04.2022 will be diverted via Rajpura-Dhuri-Gil. This train will not stop at Sirhind, Govindgarh and Khanna stations.
- 12203 Saharsa-Amritsar Express running on 11.04.2022 will be run via Chandigarh-Sanhewal.
- 22429 Delhi Jn running on 12.04.2022. -Pathankot Express Barasta will run via Chandigarh-Sanhewal. This train will not stop at Sirhind station.
Partially canceled trains
04327/04328 Sitapur City-Kanpur Central-Sitapur City Special train commencing from 03.04.2022 to 11.04.2022 will terminate its journey at Balamau station/ start its journey from Balamau station. This train will be partially canceled between Balamau-Sitapur City.
Train time rescheduled
12926 Amritsar-Bandra Terminus Paschim Express starting its journey on 06.04.2022 will depart one hour behind schedule.
Stopping trains
- 12449 Madgaon-Chandigarh Express which will start journey on 05.04.2022 will run between New Delhi-Sonipat with stoppage of 50 minutes.
- 12057 New Delhi Una Himachal Janshatabdi Express, which will start its journey on 06.04.2022, will run between New Delhi-Sonepat with a stoppage of 35 minutes.
- 22430 Pathankot-Delhi Jn which will start the journey on 06.04.2022. The express will run between Kurukshetra-Karnal with a halt of 20 minutes.
- The 12459 New Delhi-Amritsar Intercity Express, which will commence its journey on 12.04.2022, will be halted for 45 minutes enroute.
- 12053 Haridwar-Amritsar Express, which will start its journey on 12.04.2022, will be halted for 20 minutes en route.
