Indian Railways: Northern Railway has announced to take traffic block on Varanasi-Lucknow section. Due to this the movement of many trains will be affected. Especially trains going towards Varanasi have been cancelled. Along with this, the route of many trains has also been changed.
New Delhi. Many works have been done to strengthen the railway infrastructure in different zones of Indian Railways. Construction and repair works are being done continuously by the Railways. In this episode, now the Northern Railway has announced to take traffic block on Varanasi-Lucknow section. Due to this the movement of many trains will be affected. Especially the trains going towards Varanasi have been cancelled. Along with this, the route of many trains has also been changed.
According to a Northern Railway spokesperson, Varanasi-Lucknow-Varanasi Express and Utretia-Sultanpur-Utretia Special trains have been canceled due to traffic block on Varanasi-Lucknow section. Whereas, Begumpura Express, Patna Express and Upasana Express Express. will be run through divert route. These trains will be operated by cancelling/diverting as follows:-
-20401/24402 Varanasi-Lucknow-Varanasi Express will remain canceled on 23.06.2022.
-04107/04108 Utretia-Sultanpur-Utretia Special will remain canceled on 23.06.2022.
– 12238 Jammu-Varanasi Begumpura Express running on 22.06.2022 will run as Barasta-Lucknow-Pratapgarh-Varanasi.
– 12238 Jammu-Varanasi Begumpura Express, 13240 Kolkata-Patna Express, 13414 Delhi Jn.-Malda Town Farakka Express and 12328 Dehradun-Howrah Upasana Express scheduled to run on 22.06.
