According to the spokesperson of the North Eastern Railway (NER), the block is being given for engineering work at Jagatbela station of Lucknow division. Due to this, the trains operating on this route will be run on 17th, 20th, 24th and 27th December from the diverted route and controlled.

-02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi special train will run on North Eastern Railway on 17th, 20th, 24th and 27th December via the converted route Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda.
-02563 Saharsa-New Delhi special train will run on North Eastern Railway on 17th, 20th, 24th and 27th December via the converted route Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda.
Re-scheduling
12587 Gorakhpur-Jammutvi Express running from Gorakhpur on 20th and 27th December will be rescheduled and run with a delay of 90 minutes from Gorakhpur.

- -15097 Bhagalpur-Jammutvi Express will run on Varanasi division on 17th and 24th December with 100 minutes control.
- -15273 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminus Express will run on 17th, 20th, 24th and 27th December with 20 minutes control.
- -15530 Anand Vihar Terminus – Saharsa Express will run on 17th and 24th December with a controlled control of 90 minutes.
- -12512 Kochuveli-Gorakhpur Express will run on 17th and 24th December with a controlled control of 80 minutes.
- -15655 Kamakhya-Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra Express will run on Varanasi division on 20th and 27th December by controlling 75 minutes.
