Indian Railways: The time table of two dozen trains is being changed by the North Eastern Railway. The timings of 28 trains will change from October 1. Therefore, it will be necessary for the passengers to know about the new time table of all these trains before starting the journey. The main reason for the change in their timing is the imposition of permanent speed restrictions for the safety of elephants and wild animals and other operational reasons.
New Delhi. The Railways has informed the passengers that changes are being made in the time table of two dozen trains . The timings of 28 trains will change from October 1. Therefore, it will be necessary for the passengers to know about the new time table of all these trains before starting the journey. The main reason for the change in their timing is the imposition of permanent speed restrictions for the safety of elephants and wild animals and other operational reasons.
Northeast Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh said that it will be necessary for the passengers to know the timings of all these trains first. The change in timings of 28 trains under the North Eastern Railway is being implemented from October 1. These will be the following trains commuting with the new time table:-
-05013 Jaisalmer – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 05.05 hrs instead of present time 04.55 hrs.
-03019 Howrah – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 09.00 hrs instead of current 09.00 hrs, with modified time 09.25 hrs.
-02040 New Delhi – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 11.40 hrs instead of 11.40 hrs, with revised timings at 11.55 hrs.
-04690 Jammu Tawi – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 13.35 hrs with modified time 13.45 hrs.
-04667 Kanpur Central – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 14.40 hrs with modified time 14.55 hrs.
-02091 Dehradun – Kathgodam Special train will arrive at Kathgodam station at 23.35 hrs instead of present time 23.35 hrs, with revised timings 23.45 hrs.

-05044 Kathgodam – Lucknow Jn. Special train will depart from Kathgodam at 11.45 hrs with revised timing at 11.15 hrs. Departure time of Haldwani at 11.45 am instead of current 12.02. It will leave Lalkuan at 12.30 hrs instead of the present time at 12.40 hrs.
-05036 Kathgodam-Delhi Special train will depart from Kathgodam at 08.45 hrs with modified time instead of 09.05 hrs. Departure time of Haldwani at 09.07 from Haldwani at present 09.22. It will leave Lalkuan at 09.45 hrs instead of present time at 09.59 hrs.
