If this ever happens to you too, you can easily lodge your complaint regarding this.
During train travel, Indian Railways catering service sometimes gives us wrong or bad miles. Now you can easily complain about spoiled miles. IRCTC has appointed IRCTC Food Inspector in special trains to ensure clean and good quality food to the passengers.
These appointments have been made for special Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Tejas and Vande Bharat trains. If you travel in these trains and have any problem with the food provided by the Railways, then you can easily lodge a complaint with them. The government has also appointed Food Inspector Supervisors in Mail/Express trains.

You dial the number 139 based on Indian Railways’ IVRS i.e. Interactive Voice Response System. After this you have to select your language. In this you have to press 3 buttons for complaint related to food and drink. At the same time, to talk to the customer service representative, you have to press star (*).
If you lodge a complaint while travelling, you will have to enter your seat number and PNR number. At the same time, if you get goods at a price higher than MRP in a shop at a railway station, then you can lodge your complaint on number 139. You can also easily lodge a complaint through the Railway app. In this you will have to give information about the food stalls or vendors located on the platform of the station.
