Indian Railways Dussehra Diwali Special Trains: During the festive season, a large number of passengers go towards their homes. In such a situation, the crowd of passengers in trains increases significantly during this period.


However, Railways takes care of every convenience of its passengers. In view of festivals like Dussehra and Diwali, Indian Railways has made arrangements for confirmed seats for passengers. Central Railway said that to reduce the extra rush of passengers, special trains have been arranged during the festivals of Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath.

Central Railways said in a press release that the frequency of these trains has been expanded for Dussehra and Diwali.

  • 07638 Sainagar Shirdi-Tirupati Weekly Special was notified to run till 25.09.2023, which has now been extended from 16.10.2023 to 27.11.2023.
  • 07637 Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special was notified to run till 24.09.2023, which has now been extended from 15.10.2023 to 26.11.2023.
  • 07196 Dadar-Kazipet Weekly Special was notified to run till 28.09.2023, which has now been extended from 05.10.2023 to 30.11.2023.
  • 07195 Kazipet-Dadar Weekly Special was notified to run till 27.09.2023, which has now been extended from 04.10.2023 to 29.11.2023.
  • 07198 Dadar-Kazipet Weekly Special was notified to run till 01.10.2023, which has now been extended from 08.10.2023 to 26.11.2023.
  • 07197 Kazipet-Dadar Weekly Special was notified to run till 30.09.2023 which has now been extended from 07.10.2023 to 25.11.2023.

Central Railway said in a press release that no change has been made in the timing of these trains. Booking channels are open for these special trains. Passengers can book for these trains from any platform of IRCTC.
