But now IRCTC has come out with a solution to this problem. A new facility has been started by IRCTC, by taking advantage of which you can get a confirmed seat.
Under this new facility of IRCTC, the system of push notification has been started. To avail this facility, you have to subscribe to the push notification system by visiting the IRCTC website. After this, whenever a seat will be vacant in the train, then its information will be given to you through notification.
Parliamentary panel gave suggestions regarding railway reservation
Earlier on Monday, the Parliamentary Panel has given some suggestions regarding Indian Railway Reservation. These suggestions of the parliamentary panel were mainly regarding the second reservation chart to be prepared before the railway travel.
The panel said that the Indian Railways should review the policy of preparing its second chart of reservations. In this regard, the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Railways said that there is no logic to prepare the reservation chart 30 minutes before the departure of the train when the passengers of waiting and RAC tickets are waiting for their confirmed tickets.
Decision to give disposable linen to passengers
Meanwhile, in view of the danger of the new Omicron variant of Corona, Western Railway has decided to give disposable linen to the passengers of express trains. In the initial phase, it has been started in four trains. This disposable linen packet given by the Railways will contain a blanket, a pillow and its cover, a sheet, a mask, a sanitizer and a napkin.
