New Delhi. Very soon it will be forbidden to take non-veg food in trains. This rule will be applicable in all those trains across the country, which go to religious places. Indian Railways has started its process.

This rule will not be implemented simultaneously and will be implemented in all trains going to the religious place one by one. These trains will be given the certificate of Sattvik trains Sattvik trains. For this, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has tied up with the Sattvik Council of India. The council will give certificates to these trains, after which the trains will be satvik.

Many passengers traveling in trains do not eat the food served in trains because they do not know that the food is completely vegetarian and hygienic. That is, how much care has been taken of cleanliness while preparing food, veg and non-veg have been cooked separately, what is the process from preparing food to serving. Indian Railways is going to start a new initiative to solve this kind of problem of passengers. IRCTC has tied up with the Sattvik Council of India to ensure that the food is completely vegetarian and all the standards of cleanliness should be kept in mind in the process of making it.

These trains will be sattvik

According to the Ministry of Railways, preparations are being made to make all trains going to religious places sattvik. Because in the trains going towards the religious place, most of the people are devotees who are going for darshan with full faith and reverence. During that time, if a person sitting around the passengers eats non-veg, then the person going for darshan may become uncomfortable.

For example, whether it is Vande Bharat going to Vaishno Devi or the Ramayana special train that visits the respective places of Lord Shri Ram, most of the passengers traveling in it will be such who would like to eat completely sattvic. That’s why it is being started with Vande Bharat Express. Apart from this, preparations are being made to make the trains going to other religious places of the country including Ramayana special train, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Ayodhya, Puri, Tirupati satvik.

This will be the process

Abhishek Biswas, founder of the Sattvik Council of India, says that there will be many types of process before giving the certificate of Satvik. In this, the method of cooking, the kitchen, the utensils for serving and serving, the method of keeping will be decided, only after going through all the process, the certificate will be given. He said that apart from making the trains sattvik, there is a plan to make the base kitchen, lounge and food stall also sattvik.
