Indian Railways giving job opportunity unemployed youth and women should apply after getting free training, know other details

Applications have been invited for the first and second batches at the Carriage and Wagon Care Center located in Ghaziabad, Northern Railway. The applicant must be 10th pass. Young men and women in the age group of 18 to 35 years can apply for training in fitter and welder trade.



New Delhi, Jagran Correspondent. Indian Railways News: Many people have lost their jobs during the Corona crisis. In order to enable unemployed youth to get employment again, Railways has decided to impart training to them. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), 3500 unemployed will be given free training for three months. This will help them to get employment. Two and a half thousand people will be given training in Northern Railway. Similar training programs will be organized at other places also.

Applications have been invited for the first and second batches at the Carriage and Wagon Care Center located in Ghaziabad, Northern Railway. The applicant must be 10th pass. Young men and women in the age group of 18 to 35 years can apply for training in fitter and welder trade. Applications can be made by September 23 to receive three weeks of free training. Selected candidates will be called for training.

The first batch will start from October 6 and the second batch will start from November 8. Railway officials say that more attention will be given to the practical side in the training program, so that they can get better information in less time. Certificates will be given to those who have successfully completed the training. This training will help the youth to get employment.

On the other hand, there is also a good news that now students of arts and commerce will also be able to study from IIT Delhi. IIT Delhi will start Bachelor of Design course from the academic session 2022-23. In which not only science but also arts and commerce students will be admitted. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Board of Governors of IIT Delhi.


IIT Delhi said that under the Department of Design, students will study Bachelor of Design. Faculty will also be appointed for this. This will be a four year course. At present, admission will be given on a total of 20 seats. IIT Director Prof. V Ramgopal Rao said that it is a great pleasure to start a new undergraduate course in Design. Because this is the first time that students from other streams other than Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be admitted. The admission of students will be done through Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCED). It is worth mentioning that IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati are already offering Bachelor of Design courses.
