Indian Railways Special Trains For Holi: Holika Dahan is being celebrated on 13 March and Holi on 14 March, after which the weekend is on 15 and 16. It is a long weekend and there is a huge demand for train tickets. In such a situation, special arrangements are being made by the railways to take the passengers to their destination on time.
Indian Railways Holi Special Trains: Holi festival is being celebrated in the country. But if the festival falls on Friday, then people plan to travel more on the long weekend. This time also, keeping in mind the festival of Holi, special trains are being operated by the railways. As the waiting list of passengers going to UP-Bihar increased, now another good news has been announced by the railways for the passengers. For the comfortable journey of lakhs of passengers, 62 more special trains have been run by the railways.
Weekend on 15 and 16
This time Holika Dahan is being celebrated on 13 March and Holi on 14 March, after which the weekend is on 15 and 16. In such a situation, there is a long weekend and a huge demand for train tickets is being seen. In such a situation, special arrangements are being made by the railways to take the passengers to their destination on time. Let’s see the list of trains-
- Train number 09425/09426: This train will run between Sabarmati to Haridwar and Haridwar to Sabarmati. This train will run twice a week and it will be a superfast train. Train number 09425: This train is from Sabarmati to Haridwar. It will run from 9 March 2025 to 30 March 2025 and will make a total of 7 rounds. This train will leave from Sabarmati every Thursday and Sunday at 5.20 pm. It will reach Jaipur at 3:40 am the next morning (Friday or Monday) and reach Haridwar at 5 pm.
- Train number 09426: This train is from Haridwar to Sabarmati. It will run twice a week. It will run from 10 March 2025 to 31 March 2025 and will make a total of 7 rounds. This train will leave Haridwar every Friday and Monday at 9 pm and reach Sabarmati the next day (Saturday or Tuesday) at 10:30 pm. The train will pass through Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Gurugram, Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar and Roorkee.
>> Train number 04725/04726: Hisar-Hadapsar (Pune)-Hisar Weekly Superfast Special
Train number 04725, Hisar-Hadapsar Weekly Special train will run from Hisar to Hadapsar (Pune) every week. It will run from 9 March 2025 to 30 March 2025 and will make a total of 4 rounds. This train will leave Hisar every Sunday at 5.50 am, reach Jaipur at 12.40 pm and reach Hadapsar the next day (Monday) at 10.45 am.
Similarly, train number 04726, Hadapsar-Hisar Weekly Special train will run from Hadapsar (Pune) to Hisar every week. It will run from 10 March 2025 to 31 March 2025 and will make a total of 4 rounds. The train will leave Hadapsar every Monday at 5 pm and reach Hisar at 10.25 pm on Tuesday.
>> Train number 04416: Delhi Sarai-Sabarmati Reserve Superfast Special
Train number 04416 train will leave Delhi Sarai at 8.10 am on 9 March 2025. It will reach Jaipur at 1.20 pm and Sabarmati at 11.20 pm. This train will pass through Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Abu Road, Palanpur.
>> Train number 09003/09004: Mumbai Central-Delhi-Mumbai Central Bi-Weekly Superfast Special
Train number 09003, Mumbai Central-Delhi: This train will run from Mumbai Central to Delhi. It will run from 7 March 2025 to 28 March 2025 and will make a total of 7 rounds. This train will depart every Tuesday and Friday at 10.30 am and will reach Delhi the next day (Wednesday and Saturday) at 10 am.
Train number 09004, Delhi-Mumbai Central: This train will run from Delhi to Mumbai Central. It will run from 8 March 2025 to 29 March 2025 and will make a total of 7 rounds. This train will depart every Wednesday and Saturday at 1.05 pm and will reach Mumbai Central the next day (Thursday and Sunday) at 1.30 pm. The train will pass through Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, Vadodara, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Gurugram, Delhi Cantonment (Delhi Cantt).
>> Train number 04382: Bareilly-Sabarmati Reserve Superfast Special
Train number 04382 train will leave Bareilly on 8 March 2025 at 8.30 am and will reach Sabarmati at 6 am the next day. This train will pass through Kasganj, Hathras Road, Mathura, Bharatpur, Bandikui, Jaipur, Phulera, Ajmer, Abu Road, Palanpur and Mahesana on the way.
>> Train number 04827/04828: Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) – Bandra Terminus Special
Train number 04827, Bhagat Ki Kothi-Bandra Terminus will run from Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) to Bandra Terminus. It will run from 8 March 2025 to 29 March 2025 and will make a total of 4 rounds. This train will leave from Bhagat Ki Kothi every Saturday at 11.30 am and will reach Bandra Terminus the next day (Sunday) at 7.25 am.
Train number 04828, Bandra Terminus-Bhagat Ki Kothi, will run from Bandra Terminus to Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur). It will run from 9 March 2025 to 30 March 2025 and will make a total of 4 rounds. This train will leave Bandra Terminus every Sunday at 10.30 am and will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 4.30 pm the next day (Monday). The train will pass through Luni, Pali Marwar, Marwar Junction, Rani, Falna, Jawai Dam, Pindwara, Abu Road, Palanpur, Mahesana, Sabarmati, Vadodara, Bharuch, Udhna, Vapi and Borivali en route.
>> Train number 05045/05046: Lalkuan-Rajkot-Lalkuan Weekly Special
Train number 05045, the train will run from Lalkuan to Rajkot every week. It will run from 9 March 2025 to 27 April 2025. This train will leave from Lalkuan every Sunday at 1.10 pm and will reach Rajkot the next day (Monday) at 6.10 pm.
Train number 05046, Rajkot-Lalkuan: This train will run from Rajkot to Lalkuan every week. It will run from 10 March 2025 to 28 April 2025. This train will leave from Rajkot every Monday at 10.30 pm and will reach Lalkuan at 4.05 am on Wednesday. On the way, this train will stop at stations like Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Luni, Sabarmati, Mahesana and Rajkot.
>> Train number 08765/08766: Durg-Madar (Ajmer)-Durg Special
Train number 08765, Durg-Madar: This train will leave from Durg on 9 March 2025 at 9.45 am and will reach Madar at 11.25 am the next day.
Train number 08766, Madar-Durg: This train will leave from Madar on 10 March 2025 at 2.10 pm and will reach Durg at 3.50 pm the next day.
