There is good news for those traveling by train between Rohtak- Rewari. Trains have started operating again on the Rewari-Rohtak railway line, which has been closed since the beginning of Covid-19.
After a long wait of two years, Delhi Railway Division has decided to run special unreserved trains on this route in the morning and evening. Once again relief has been provided for the passengers commuting through the train itself.
Railway’s Chief Commercial Inspector Pankaj Rajpal said that the operation of this train, which was stopped due to Corona, will start again. He told that with the resumption of the train, the journey between Rewari and Rohtak will be very smooth for the passengers. This train will not be operated on Sundays. This train will complete the journey from Rewari to Rohtak in 1 hour 23 minutes.
According to railways, this train departs from Rohtak at 5:05 am every day except Sundays at Asthal Bohar station at 5:13 pm, Deeghal at 5:25 pm, Jhajjar at 5:44 pm, Machrauli at 5:44 pm, Gokalgarh at 6:17. and will reach Rewari at 6:28 am. In the evening, this train will leave for Rohtak from Rewari at 7:50 every day except Sundays. Tickets will be arranged for passengers at every station.
Train could not run on Rohtak route
Let us inform that in March 2020, due to the first wave of Covid-19, the operation of trains across the country was stopped due to the lockdown. Trains running via Rewari were also stopped. But gradually when the situation returned to normal, trains started operating on other routes, but not a single train was started on the Rohtak route.
Railway passengers had sent a letter recently, demanding to start the operation of trains again on the Rohtak route. Meeting the demand of passengers, Railways has decided to run unreserved trains on this route again in the morning and evening.
