Indian Railways: Keeping in view the upcoming festive season and in view of the rush of passengers, the Railways has decided to run these special trains, so that the increasing rush in the trains can be controlled.
New Delhi: Indian Railways: The festive season is about to begin. Therefore, the Railways has started two special trains for its passengers from today. This will benefit those people who want to go to their homes during festivals. Railways has decided to run two superfast special festival trains so that there is no inconvenience to the passengers on festivals like Durga Puja, Diwali, Chhath.
Two festive special trains will run from today
Out of these two superfast special festival trains, one train will run between Durg-Ajmer and the other Durg-Jammu Tawi. This train will run under the name of Weekly Superfast Special Train. Recently, the Railways has also started running Ganpati special trains.
Railways says that keeping in mind the coming festive season and in view of the rush of passengers, it has been decided to run these special trains, so that the increasing crowd in trains can be controlled. Apart from this, the Railways has also decided to increase the frequency of trains.
When will the special trains run
1. Train No. 08217 Durg-Ajmer Weekly Special train starting from today i.e. on 13th September will leave Durg station on one day in a week on Mondays at 4 PM and on the second day via Raipur, Tilda, Bhatpara Katni 2. From Mundwara station While halting, Ajmer will reach at 6.45 pm.
3. Train No. 08218 Ajmer-Durg will leave Durg once a week from 14th September on Tuesday and will reach Jammu Tawi the next day. These trains will have 20 coaches, in which 2 General, 11 Sleeper, 3 Third AC, 2 Second AC.
4. Similarly train number 08549 Durg-Jammutvi Weekly Superfast Special train will leave from Durg on Tuesday, 14th September.
5. Train No. 08550 Jammu Tawi-Durg will open on 16th September and will run once a week on Thursdays.
Where will the train stop
Durg-Jammutavi will leave Durg at 12.15 hrs and this train will reach Jammu Tawi the next day via Raipur, Bhatpara, Bilaspur.
Similarly, Jammu Tawi-Durg special train will reach Durg at 6 pm the next day via Pendra Row, Bilaspur, Bhatpara and Raipur.
