In view of the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to operate weekly Humsafar Superfast Express trains from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Chennai. Ajmer-Rameswaram-Ajmer Weekly Humsafar Superfast Express train will be started from Ajmer on 18th December. In the return direction, this train will start its journey from Rameswaram on 21st December.
According to a North Western Railway spokesperson, Train No. 20973, Ajmer-Rameswaram Weekly Humsafar Superfast Express will leave Ajmer at 20.10 hrs on every Saturday from 18th December and will reach Rameswaram at 21.00 hrs on Monday. Similarly, Train No. 20974, Rameswaram – Ajmer Weekly Humsafar Superfast Express will leave Rameswaram at 22.30 hrs on every Tuesday from 21st December to reach Ajmer at 23.05 hrs on Thursday.
Enroute this train is Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Fatehabad Chandravatiganj, Laxmibai Nagar, Dewas Jn., Maksi Jn., Bhopal, Itarsi, Betul, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Ballarshah, Barangal, Vijayawada Jn., Nellore, Gudur Jn. . , Chennai Egmore, Changalpattu Jn., Villupuram Jn., Aluva, Thrissurapally Jn. and Manmadhuri Jn. Will stop at stations. This train will stop at these stations in both the directions.
