Indian Railways is going to make these three big changes
1. Duty of Food Safety Supervisor will be imposed in all base kitchens. These supervisors will keep an eye on the food quality, so that train passengers do not have any kind of complaint related to food. There are about 50 base kitchens of IRCTC across the country, from which food is supplied.
2. IRCTC will pay special attention to maintain the quality of food. So that pure and clean food can be delivered to the passengers. Under the new change, there will now be routine sampling of food. Till now it was happening that after receiving complaints from passengers, sampling of food is done. But, now regular sampling will be done in base kitchen and trains.
3. Whether the railway passengers are satisfied with the food available in the train or not, what is their opinion about the food. For this, continuous surveys will be conducted. Although, the survey is still conducted by IRCTC, but its timing is not fixed. But, now after fixing the time, continuous surveys will be done on it.
