Indian Railways: Good news! IRCTC is going to run many special trains on Christmas and New year, Check train details

New Delhi. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced to run several special trains during Christmas and New Year to clear the extra rush of passengers. IRCTC is going to run many special trains in coordination with Central Railway. According to an official release, booking for the trains will start from November 20 i.e. today.



In such a situation, if you are also planning to know your home in Christmas or New Year, then you can book your ticket from PRS counters and IRCTC website. Let’s know the details of the trains…

Train No. 01596: Goa Junction-Panvel Special will depart from Goa Junction at 16:00. The train will reach Panvel at 03:15 the next day. Every Sunday from 21 November 2021 to 2 January 2022.

Train No. 01595: Panvel – Madgaon Junction Special will leave Panvel at 06:05 on every Monday from 22 November 2021 to 3 January 2022.

The train will stop at Karmali, Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Adavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Savarda, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon and Roha stations, the release said.

Covid guideline will be followed

The release further said that all norms of the state and central government regarding COVID-19 including social distancing, sanitization and others should be followed by the passengers at trains and railway stations.
