Construction of deluxe toilet building on PPP model

In this episode, the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Junction complex, which is one of the busiest railway junctions on the Delhi-Howrah rail route, is also going to provide deluxe toilets and air-condition lounge facilities to the passengers very soon. For this, the deluxe toilet building has been constructed on the PPP model and if the railway officials are to be believed, very soon it will be opened for the passengers coming to the DDU junction.

It is noteworthy that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction is one of the major railway stations of Indian Railways, where more than two hundred and fifty passenger trains pass in 24 hours, including a dozen Rajdhani Express trains. Every day thousands of passengers disembark at this railway station and start their journey. In such a situation, for the convenience of the passengers coming to this railway junction, Indian Railways has constructed deluxe toilets and air-conditioned lounges on PPP model.

Passengers will get these facilities under Pay and Use

In this modern deluxe toilet, all kinds of facilities will be provided to the people under pay-and-use. In this, mainly toilet and bathroom can be used. Also, if there is a delay in the arrival of the passengers or they have reached the station before the time of the train and they feel the need of rest, then the executive lounge has been constructed on the first floor of this building, in which the people can sit. Comfortable sofas and center tables have been provided for sitting.


Separate toilets and bathrooms have also been arranged for women and men attached to this lounge. Along with this, special arrangements have also been made for changing rooms. In this deluxe toilet, separate special toilets and bathrooms have been arranged for the differently-abled passengers as well. In this fully air-conditioned lounge, arrangements have been made for the food and drink of the passengers. A clock room has also been arranged here for the convenience of the passengers. Where passengers can keep their belongings safely. Automatic vending machine will also be installed in this building. Those people can also use this air-conditioned lounge. Those who will come to the station to receive their relatives and relatives.

Giving information, Rupesh Kumar, Senior DCM of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Division said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Junction is a big junction and there is always a huge crowd of passengers at this junction. In such a situation, in view of the facilities of the passengers, this deluxe toilet and air-conditioned lounge have been constructed by the Railways on the PPP model. It is the endeavor of the Railways to provide better passenger facilities to its passengers.
