Railways has started a new facility to provide clean food to the passengers. IRCTC is working closely with the Sattvik Council of India to provide this facility in all trains.

IRCTC is also expected to get the certificate soon with this move of the Railways. At the same time, the department has started this facility in some trains. Satvik and pure vegetarian food is being provided in trains connected to various religious places including Vande Bharat Katra.

The designation of the guard in the train will change. They will no longer be called guards but train managers.
