Festival Special Train: In view of the rush on the festival season, Railways has decided to run several festival special trains from Delhi to Bihar. These trains will run from October 11 to November 20.
New Delhi. Chhath and Diwali festival have great importance in Bihar. In view of the huge rush of passengers during these festivals, Indian Railways has announced to run festival special trains from New Delhi and Anand Vihar stations to Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Barauni, Saharsa and Jaynagar stations of Bihar. All coaches in these special trains will be of reserved category and passengers traveling in these will have to follow the rules of Kovid-19. These trains will be operated from October 11 to November 20. In all these trains, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 sleeper coaches, 09 general coaches and 02 SLR coaches.
Along with this, IRCTC has announced to start festive special trains for many places other than Bihar. Special train is also being run from Delhi to Vaishno Devi Darshan.
Know which special trains will be run
1 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur
- Train No. 01676 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur Jn. It will run on every Monday and Wednesday from 11 October 2021 to 17 November 2021.
- Train No. 01675 Muzaffarpur Jn.-Anand Vihar will run on every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 October 2021 to 18 November 2021.
This train will stop at Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Barabanki, Lucknow, Chandausi and Moradabad stations.
2. New Delhi- Darbhanga
- Train No. 01670 New Delhi-Darbhanga will run on every Monday and Thursday from 11 October 2021 to 18 November 2021.
- Train No. 01669 Darbhanga – New Delhi will run on every Tuesday and Friday from 12 October 2021 to 19 November 2021.
This train will stop at Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations.
3.New Delhi-Barauni
- Train No. 01660 New Delhi – Barauni Jn. It will run every Tuesday and Friday from October 12, 2021 to November 19, 2021.
- Train No. 01659 Barauni Jn.-New Delhi will run on every Wednesday and Saturday from 13 October, 2021 to 20 November, 2021.
This train will stop at Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Dalsinghsarai, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Hardoi, Bareilly, Moradabad and Hapur stations.
4.Anand Vihar-Saharsa
- Train No. 01662 Anand Vihar – Saharsa Jn. It will run on every Monday and Thursday from October 11, 2021 to November 18, 2021.
- Train No. 01661 Saharsa Jn.-Anand Vihar will run on every Tuesday and Friday from 12 October, 2021 to 19 November, 2021.
This train will stop at Madhubani, Darbhanga, Barauni, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations.
5. Anand Vihar-Jayanagar
- Train number 01668 Anand Vihar – Jaynagar will run on every Tuesday and Friday from 12 October 2021 to 19 November 2021.
- Train No. 01667 Jaynagar – Anand Vihar will run on every Wednesday and Saturday from 13 October, 2021 to 20 November, 2021.
These special trains operate in Up and Down direction between Jaynagar and Anand Vihar at Madhubani, Darbhanga, Barauni, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations. But will stop.
