New Delhi: For the first time after the Corona period, the Northern Railway has decided to restore the closed general coaches in mail and express trains. Passengers will be able to travel through General Ticket in 10 pairs of trains from the new year . According to the railway administration, these changes will be implemented from January 1, 2022. After installing the general coach, passengers will be able to travel in these trains by taking cheap tickets. This will be of great convenience to the passengers traveling for short distances.
Passengers will be able to take general ticket
Railways will also provide tickets to passengers to travel in general coaches of these trains from January 1. Let us inform that on the guidelines of Railway Board, SC Prasad, Principal Chief Commercial Manager of North Eastern Railway had allowed travel through general ticket in 10 pairs of express trains.

Railway income will increase
After the introduction of general ticketing facility for express trains, passengers will get relief from the extra fare in the name of reservation. Let us inform that the additional fare of Rs 15 to Rs 30 being charged in the name of reservation is affecting the pockets of the passengers only. Apart from this, the income of the Railways is also likely to increase with the introduction of the facility of general ticket.
