You can use WiFi facility for free. Its facility is available at many stations of the country. However, many stations still do not have WiFi facility.
Waiting Room Facility-
If you want to travel by train and for some reason the train is late, then for your convenience, the railways have arranged a waiting room. There is a waiting room at every station. If you have a valid ticket then you can also take advantage of this facility. There is no need to pay any money for this. It is completely free.
Clock room facility- The facility
of cloak room for the passengers is also provided at every station by the railways. If you have a ticket then you can use it. Passengers can deposit their belongings in it. No fee has to be paid for this.
Insurance facility-
Insurance has to be done on the purchase of railway ticket. Its fee is nominal. Your travel is insured in just 49 paise. You are asked about insurance while booking tickets from the mobile app or website. Under the insurance, compensation of Rs 10 lakh is available in case of death or disability in a train accident. Whereas coverage of Rs 7.5 lakh is available on partial disability. Whereas in hospitalization, treatment up to Rs 2 lakh is done.
There is also the facility of insurance in case of theft of goods, dacoity. Apart from this, the railway also provides the facility of dormitory. Travelers can take advantage of this. However, passengers have to pay a fee for this. But the railway provides this facility at a much lower cost than the hotels outside the railway station.
