Due to this, two dozen trains operating between major cities of many states will be affected. At the same time, it has been decided to cancel two more trains.
New Delhi. On behalf of the Railways, the work of doubling the railway line between Sitapur-Tappa Khajuria-Parsendi stations of Lucknow division is going on. Due to this, the work of pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking has to be done from November 16. Because of this, engineering block is being taken by North Eastern Railway.
Due to this, the operation of two dozen trains operating on this route will be affected. All these trains are going to operate between major cities of the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Assam.
According to the spokesperson of North Eastern Railway, engineering block will be taken from November 16 to 24 for pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work for doubling work between Sitapur-Tappa Khajuria-Parsendi stations of Lucknow division. Due to this many trains were canceled, route change and short termination and short origination was done in the past, but now some changes are being made in it which are as follows:-
05211 Darbhanga-Amritsar special train running from Darbhanga on 18th November will now remain canceled instead of running on Parivartan route.
05212 Amritsar-Darbhanga special train running from Amritsar on 20th November will now be canceled instead of diverted.
Earlier, it has been decided by the North Eastern Railway to keep the following trains canceled:-
-05091 Gonda-Sitapur unreserved special train will be canceled on 16th November, 2021.
-05091/05092 Gonda-Sitapur-Gonda unreserved special train will be canceled from November 17 to 24.
-05086/05085 Lucknow Jn-Mailani-Lucknow Jn. Unreserved special train will be canceled from November 20 to 24.
-05088/05087 Lucknow Jn-Mailani-Lucknow Jn. Unreserved special train will be canceled from November 20 to 24.
-05490/05489 Lucknow Jn-Mailani-Lucknow Jn. Unreserved special train will be canceled from November 20 to 24.
