How PNR works
The Center of Railway Information Systems (CSIR) runs a database. In this all the information of the passengers is fed and stored. The system generates a 10-digit PNR status number every time a person buys a ticket for Indian Railways on IRCTC website, private travel websites or ticket counters.
Passenger limit in one PNR number
Only a maximum of six passengers can join a PNR number. That is, with the idea of ​​group booking, you can make a maximum reservation of six people at a time.
