Decision taken for the convenience of passengers
For the convenience of rail passengers, Indian Railways has decided to increase the limit for booking of maximum 6 tickets in a month from one user ID to 12 tickets. This decision has been taken for those passengers who are not Aadhaar verified. Apart from this, Aadhaar verified passengers can book a maximum of 24 tickets in a month.
At present, Aadhaar verified users were able to book 12 tickets in a month. Apart from this, users whose Aadhaar was not verified with IRCTC could book 6 tickets in a month.
Online ticket booking has also changed
Earlier, railways had also made a big change in the way of booking tickets online. Now passengers will take very less time to book railway tickets. According to the new rule, passengers will not have to give information about their destination and address while booking tickets. Earlier it used to take more than two to three minutes for the passengers to fill the address during booking.
Now that time will also be saved and due to this online ticket booking will be done soon. In fact, passengers booking Tatkal tickets will benefit the most from the decision of the Railways, because while getting Tatkal tickets, time has to be taken care of the most.
