There are more than 10 thousand such employees only in Chakradharpur division who should get incentive in the form of allowance. A cadre meeting was organized at the Central Office of the South Eastern Railway Men’s Congress. Addressing which, Shashi Mishra, Joint General Secretary of Mains Congress cum convener of Chakradharpur Mandal said these things.
During this, Shashi Mishra raised the burning problems of South Eastern Railway before the General Secretary of National Federation of Indian Railwaymen, Dr. M. Raguwaiya and demanded their solution. According to Shashi Mishra, NFIR has been struggling for the last five years to get risk allowance to such employees. At the same time, he demanded 10 percent under the intake quota on the vacant posts of Goods Guard, Station Master and Commerce Department.
Apart from this, the Railway Board demanded to provide funds for the smooth continuation of essential services in the Railways. At the same time, during the meeting, the chairman and secretary of all the branches of Chakradharpur division also highlighted the problems of the Railway Board level with their own views. Railway employees will get 78 days bonus
During his address, Secretary General Dr. Raguwaiya informed that despite the COVID crisis, the Ministry of Railways has proposed a bonus of 78 days. Its file has been sent to the Union Cabinet, after getting the approval, the official announcement of the bonus of railway employees will be made. He said that before December 2021, 35 thousand senior supervisors of all departments of Indian Railways will be upgraded from Rs 4600 grade to 4800 GP. For this, a consensus has been reached in the flower board committee.
