Indian Railways: Many passengers who book train tickets online complain that first it shows confirmed tickets but when they book, it takes so much time that it becomes waitlisted or sometimes money is deducted but the ticket is not generated due to slow process. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is going to give a gift to such passengers. Soon, online tickets will be able to be booked in the blink of an eye. You just have to wait a little for this. Let’s know the complete plan of IRCTC-
According to IRCTC CMD Sanjay Jain, the main reason for problems like money being deducted while booking tickets, payment failure or confirmed tickets becoming waitlisted after taking more time is the low capacity of the server. That is, the server capacity is less than the number of people who process online ticket booking, due to which passengers have to face problems.
This is the solution
IRCTC is working on the capacity of the server. Its process has started, it will be completed by March 2025. After this, passengers’ tickets will be booked online instantly. It can be said that from next year the process of ticket booking will not take time. There will be no waiting time after clicking. Its process will start directly and you will have the ticket in a few moments.
More than 9 lakh tickets are booked online
There are 3 crore IRCTC users across the country. Currently more than 9 lakh tickets are being booked online daily. These include online booking by passengers as well as agent booking. More than two crore passengers travel by train every day.
