Indian Railways IRCTC: Indian Railways has started a new facility for the passengers. Now passengers can also book tickets in moving trains. According to the new rules of the Railways, passengers will also be able to pay the fare or fine through the debit card in the train. Railways is connecting through 4G to improve this technology. Till now, due to such systems being 2G, many difficulties were being faced.

Actually point of selling i.e. POS machines have 2G SIM installed. Therefore, there is a problem of network in the remote area. In such a situation, now the Railways has started the exercise of getting its staff to install 4G SIM in electronic gadgets like handheld terminals. After that online payment can be done.


According to the Railway Board, point of sale machines have been provided to TTs in more than 36000 trains across the country. So that tickets can be given by taking extra money from those traveling in AC without traveling ticket or taking sleeper ticket. TTs will be able to make tickets online by making tickets through these machines or by working out the difference between the sleeper and AC fare. There will be many benefits due to the upgrade of POS machine. Those passengers will get the most benefit from it. Those who did not have a ticket and had to pay cash as a fine.

With the upgrade of the machine, passengers will now be able to pay with their cards. According to media reports, upgraded machines have already been given to railway staff in Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains. At the same time, now the TVs of express trains will also be given or machines will be given 4G SIM in all the machines in the next few months. After which passengers will be able to make payment through their debit card, credit card and other cards.
