Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam To Be Conducted From December 15
The Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam, Group D, ministerial and Isolated Category post exams are scheduled to begin from December 15 by the Railway Recruitment Board. The exam is computer based and will be held till December 18.
As per reports, 2.44 crore applications have been received for more than 1.40 lakh posts, 1.03 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam for 1663 vacancies.
The non-technical popular category exam will be conducted between December 18 and March 2021. About 1.26 crore candidates have applied for 35208 posts for this position.
The exams for RRC level 1 posts, which include jobs such as track maintainers, points main and various level 1 employee roles will be conducted between the first week of April and June next year.
Self Declaration Will Be Required From Candidates
In addition to that, the RRB Group D exam was held in 152 shifts with about 164026 candidates per shift; this was notified in 2018. About 18982719 candidates had registered for the exam.

As per reports, candidates will be able to access the detailed exam scheduled on the official website of the RRBs. The candidates will then be informed about the exam city and dates before the admit cards are issued to them. Additionally, admit cards or hall tickets will also be released on the website 4 days before the exam begins.
The final merit list will be decided after normalizing the marks that are obtained by the candidates. Also, this time, the candidates have been asked to write a paragraph of self-declaration on the admit card. A blank space will be provided for this purpose on the admit card.
