Railways has announced a permanent increase in second and third class AC coaches in two trains and will also temporarily increase the number of coaches in 5 other trains.
Passengers please note… From January 1, 2022, railway passengers are going to get a big relief. Indian Railways is giving a chance to travel through unreserved tickets on 20 general coaches from January 1, 2021, i.e. in the new year 2022, you will now be able to travel on unreserved tickets. Passengers will be able to travel in 10 pairs of trains, including Lucknow Intercity and Krishak Express, on the new year through General Ticket. Apart from this, Railways has announced a permanent increase in second and third class AC coaches in two trains and 5 other trains. The number of coaches will also be increased temporarily.
The weekly special passenger train number 01665 and 01666 running between Rani Kamla Pati station to Agartala passing through Jabalpur Railway Division (IRCTC) will remain canceled on 6 January and 9 January 2022. Similarly, passenger train number 11117 running between Itarsi to Jabalpur via Prayagraj Chhauki will also run from January 1 to January 10 till Katni. In return also this passenger train number 11118 will start from Prayagraj Chhauki and will end at Katni station instead of Itarsi via Satna.

Increase coaches in these trains of MP
1. One coach of Second AC and one coach of Third AC of Train No. 19329/19330, Indore-Udaipur City-Indore Train is being extended. This change in the number of coaches in the train will happen from December 27 from Indore and from December 28 from Udaipur City.
2. One coach of Second AC and one coach of Third AC of Train No. 19333/19334, Indore-Bikaner-Indore train is being extended. This change in the number of coaches in the train will be from Indore from January 1 and from Bikaner from January 2.
3. In Train No. 09721/09722, Jaipur-Udaipur City-Jaipur Special Train, 1 Second Sleeper and 2 Second Ordinary Class Coaches are being temporarily increased from 26 December to 28 December.
4. Temporary increase of 1 Second Sleeper Class Coach is being given in Train No. 12996/12995, Ajmer-Bandra Terminus-Ajmer train from Ajmer on 28th December and from Bandra Terminus on 29th December.
5. Temporary increase of 1 Third AC coach in Train No. 22475/22476, Hisar-Coimbatore-Hisar train from Hisar on 29th December and from Coimbatore on 1st January.
6. Temporary increase of 1 Second Sleeper Class coach is being done in Train No. 20483/20484, Bhagat Ki Kothi – Dadar – Bhagat Ki Kothi from Bhagat Ki Kothi on 27th December and Dadar on 28th December.
