According to the announcement made by the Railway Department, if you also book a train ticket for the journey, then you have to enter the correct mobile number at the time of booking the ticket. Along with this, after booking tickets in second class, you must check your PNR status.
If you get ‘Route class deleted/booking not allowed as given class for the route is deleted’ while checking PNR then you will get full money back.
New refund system launched
Along with this, if you have booked tickets through an agent, then a new OTP-based refund system has been introduced for such tickets. Through this, a transparent and refund system has to be introduced for reserved e-tickets so that passengers do not face any kind of trouble.
Booking ticket through agent will get full money
Let us tell you that this new system has been started by IRCTC, through which you can easily get refund money. For this OTP will come on your registered mobile number. To get the refund amount, you have to share the OTP with the agent.
Through this facility, the agent will know the correct information about the passenger canceled ticket or the ticket left from the waiting list and you will get the money back for the ticket.

OTP-based refund for canceled tickets or fully waitlisted tickets will be processed only if the ticket is booked through IRCTC authorized agents.
