In view of the increase in the cases of Coronavirus, the Railways has decided to increase the fare with the aim of controlling the flow of congestion. The railways has doubled the fare at most of the stations while the platform ticket price at Secunderabad station has been increased by five times the original price. The increased platform ticket prices will be applicable till January 20, 2022.

Secunderabad Rs.50, Hyderabad Rs.20, Warangal Rs.20, Khammam Rs.20, Lingampally Rs.20, Kazipet Rs.20, Mahbubabad Rs.20, Ramagundam Rs.20, Manchiryal Rs.20, Bhadrachalam Road Rs.20 , Vikarabad has a platform ticket of Rs 20, Tandur Rs 20, Bidar Rs 20, Parlivaijnath Rs 20 and Begumpet also Rs 20.

Please note that a ticket is also required to go to the railway station. This ticket is called platform ticket. If you go to the platform of the railway station without a platform ticket, then it is considered an offense and TT can also impose a fine on you for that.
