Decision taken in view of summer vacation and festivals
Most of the time while booking train tickets during summer vacations and festivals, the seats get full well in advance. In such a situation, people are not able to get a seat during ticket booking. Along with this, it becomes very difficult to book Tatkal tickets during this period, as soon as the counter opens, the seats are booked within minutes. Therefore, for the convenience of the passengers, the Railways has decided to increase the number of coaches in many trains.
With this move of the Railways, the chances of getting the seat confirmed while booking the train ticket will increase significantly. In view of this, North Western Railway has decided to increase 81 coaches in 36 pairs i.e. total 72 trains.
Coaches will be increased in these trains
In this connection, there is a temporary increase in the number of 2 Third AC and 2 Second Sleeper class coaches in Rohilla-Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla train from 1st May to 1st June 2022. The number of coaches is being increased temporarily in Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur train from 4th May to 3rd June 2022. In this, 2 third AC and 2 second sleeper class coaches will be increased. Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner, a temporary increase in the number of coaches is being done between May 1 and June 2 in both the trips of this train. In this, the number of 2 second sleeper class coaches will be increased.
On the other hand, the number of coaches will be temporarily increased between May 1 and June 1 in both the rounds of Bhiwani-Kanpur-Bhiwani. In this, one third AC and one second sleeper class coaches will be increased. Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai Rohilla, the number of 2 second sleeper class coaches will be increased in this train from 1st May to 1st June. In Udaipur City-Khajuraho-Udaipur City, the number of Third AC and 1 Second Sleeper Class coaches will be increased from 1st May to 3rd June.
Similarly, in Ajmer-Dadar-Ajmer, there will be an increase in the number of third AC coaches in this train between May 1 and May 30. In Kothi-Dadar-Bhagat Ki Kothi train, between May 2 and May 31, the number of 3 third AC coaches and 3 second sleeper class coaches will be increased.
