Chhath Puja Special Trains: On behalf of Northeast Railway, three pairs of Puja special trains are being operated from Jammu to Katihar Junction in Bihar on Chhath Puja Mahaparv. These reserved class trains will reach Katihar via Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai and Khagaria along with all the cities of Punjab, Haryana, UP as well as many big cities of Bihar, while running from Jammu. All these will be run for 01-01 rounds.
New Delhi. Puja special trains are being operated continuously by Indian Railways for the convenience of passengers going to Purvanchal and Bihar on Chhath festival. Taking a big step in this direction from the Northeast Railway, three pairs of Pooja special trains are being operated from Jammu to Katihar Junction in Bihar.
These trains will be fully reserved category. These trains will reach Katihar via Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai and Khagaria along with all the cities of Punjab, Haryana, UP as well as many big cities of Bihar while running from Jammu. These trains, which will operate in both the directions, will be of great benefit to the passengers. All these will be run for 01-01 rounds.
According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, Pankaj Kumar Singh, for the convenience of the passengers, 01626/01625 Jammu Tawi-Katihar-Jammutvi Puja special train will depart from Jammu Tawi on 07 November and from Katihar on 08 November, 04520/04519 Jammu Tawi-Katihar-Jammutvi Puja special train. From Jammu Tawi on 06 November and from Katihar on 07 November and 04550/04549 Jammu Tawi – Katihar – Jammu Pooja Special train will run from Jammu Tawi on 05 November and Katihar on 06 November for 01-01 trips. All coaches in this train will be of reserved class and passengers traveling in it will have to follow the standards of Kovid-19.

01626 Jammu Tawi – Katihar Puja Special Train will leave Jammu Tawi at 12.00 hrs on 07th November, 2021 from Pathankot Cantt at 14.13 hrs, Jalandhar Cantt at 15.55 hrs, Ludhiana at 17.05 hrs, Sirhind at 18.05 hrs, Ambala Cantt at 19.00 hrs, Yamunanagar Jagadhri at 19.45 hrs. hrs, Saharanpur at 20.40 hrs, Moradabad at 23.50 hrs, Bareilly at 01.27 hrs, Sitapur at 05.35 hrs, Gorakhpur Jn. It will depart at 11.15 hrs, Chhapra at 14.25 hrs, Hajipur at 15.40 hrs, Barauni at 17.50 hrs, Begusarai at 18.17 hrs and Khagaria at 18.54 hrs and will reach Katihar at 21.45 hrs.
In the return journey, 01625 Katihar – Jammu Puja Special train will leave Katihar at 23.45 hrs on 08th November, 2021, leave Khagaria at 01.47 hrs, Begusarai at 02.20 hrs, Barauni at 02.55 hrs, Hajipur at 05.00 hrs, Chhapra at 06.20 hrs, Gorakhpur to Gorakhpur. 09.30 hrs, Sitapur at 15.10 hrs, Bareilly at 19.02 hrs, Moradabad at 20.45 hrs, Saharanpur at 23.55 hrs, Yamunanagar at 00.27 hrs, Ambala Cantt at 01.25 hrs, Sirhind at 02.22 hrs, Ludhiana 03.40 hrs, Jalandhar Cantt. It will reach Jammu Tawi at 05.15 hrs and leave Pathankot Cantt at 06.23 hrs. In this special train, 18 of ordinary second class and SLR/D. A total of 20 coaches including 02 coaches will be installed.
